Mobile Website and Integration

Problem / Goals

Mapex needed a new site that was mobile optimized, more accurately reflected their brand, drove more social engagement, and promoted their products and artists. The needed to build the site using a CMS for easy content management for a dispersed team of content editors. They also needed to integrate with their global ERP system to synchronize product data.

The Solution

Mapex decided to design the UI for the new site in-house but contracted BOA for all of the development efforts. We built the site using responsive design for mobile optimization and developed it on the Kentico CMS platform to meet their content management needs. Custom social feeds and social sharing elements gave Mapex the increased social engagement they were looking for. We developed a custom integration solution to connect with and synchronize data from Mapex's ERP system in Taiwan. 

The Results

The vital insight into the traffic sources, types of devices, and content that their market is using and interested in is helping their marketing teams craft the right messages and make the necessary changes in real-time to begin to truly connect with their customers and deliver the value that is expected by their customers. Since implementing the new website with the Kentico Enterprise Marketing Solution, Mapex has seen a 17% decrease in the bounce rate from their site. They have also seen a 41% increase in the number of page views and also an 22% increase in the number of overall site visits.
